June 22nd
7:00 pm Ice Cream Social
7:30 pm South Oakland Concert Band
Stop by the pavilion in Clawson City Park and enjoy a tasty ice cream sundae served up by the Clawson Lions Club while you listen to the musical stylings of the South Oakland Concert Band

June 25th
11:00 am Kiddie Parade
Decorate your bike, wagon, or build your own float and join us for a parade.
This event is sponsored by the GFWC Clawson Juniors.
The Kiddie Parade will start at Clawson High School and travel down Phillips o Custer and then finish at the City Park.
11:30 am Coney Day
The Clawson Troy Optimist Club will be selling coney dogs, chips, and drinks at the City Park Pavilion immediately following the Kiddie Parade.

June 26th
7:00 pm Free 1-mile Fun Run
7:30 pm Freedom Run 5k
In this unique evening race runners are cheered on by residents as they wind their way through the wide, flat tree lined streets of Clawson.
Pre-registration for the 5k is only $15.
The 1-mile Fun Run is held in the city park and registration is FREE. For more information about the run or to register online check out www.clawsonruns.com

July 3rd
3:00-9:00 pm Arts & Crafts Fair
Shop the samplings of over 85 vendors
3:00 – 9:00 pm Midway Games and Rides
Your $2 entry fee helps pay for the fireworks, balloons, bands and the rest of the 4th of July activities.

July 4th
7:00 – 11:00 am Herb Glenn Memorial Pancake Breakfast
Join your neighbors and start your day with some hot pancakes at Clawson United Methodist Church
8:30 am Opening Ceremony
Our Celebration of the 4th of July begins with a flag raising ceremony at Blair Memorial Library.
9:00 am $1000 Firecracker Mile
The Firecracker Mile is one of the fastest miles in Midwest. Whether you are racing for a cash prize, trophy, medal, or for the joy of the run, this is the race for you.

9:00 am Parade
The Clawson 4th of July Parade is viewed by thousands as it begins at Crooks and travels down 14 mile to Main to Elmwood before finishing in Clawson City Park.
Enjoy the bands, floats, balloons and clowns.

1:00 pm Clawson v. Troy Fire Department Water Battle
Cheer on the Clawson Fire Department as they challenge
the Troy Fire Department in this annual event.

Fireworks!
At around 10:00 pm the greatest fireworks show in the area will begin.
This is not a school-sponsored event. Clawson Schools and the City of Clawson assume no responsibility for individuals traveling to or from this event.
